THE BINGO ACADEMY COMES TO THE VAULTS
A MONTH-LONG SUBTERRANEAN POP-UP BINGO BOOTCAMP
@ The Vaults under waterloo station
THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS + SATURDAYS
3rd April to 26TH may
Are you desperate to play bingo but are scared of looking foolish around more experienced players? Do you wish you had what it takes to win in any bingo scenario but lack the self-belief to succeed? Then look no further.
Once mastered there are few games that can match bingo for a deep sense of personal fulfillment and intense social bonding.
The Bingo Academy is a new bingo training organisation set up by one of the founders of Rebel Bingo. The Bingo Academy aims to revitalise the struggling sport by arming a new generation of player with the skills necessary to fully experience the joys that bingo can offer and the grit and determination to compete in any modern bingo environment.
At the academy you’ll be taken through the complex rules of bingo, shown advanced dabbing techniques, and compete in a range of actual real-life bingo games to fully prepare you for any future bingo scenario. You will emerge from the Bingo Academy with a new level of competency and confidence.
Food will be provided by hogdog masters Popdogs and a full bar will keep you hydrated and/or lubed up and ready for action.
If you like drinking drinks, eating food, and developing essential and fulfilling life skills then this is your destiny.
The Bingo Academy will launch at the Vaults under Waterloo Station on 5th April, with a previews on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th April.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Freddie Sorensen is one of the founders of the world's most aggressive bingo revolution: Rebel Bingo. Having experienced the power of bingo first hand - the ecstacy it can bring; the heartache it can cause; and the bonds it can forge - Freddie now wants to help reverse the fortunes of this struggling national pastime and turn it back into the joyous social experience it once was. And so the Bingo Academy was born. Using advanced bingo training techniques developed during years of experience working in extreme bingo situations Freddie and his team will fill the world with a new wave of bingo advocates as they emerge empowered and brimming with confidence from one of the various branches of the Bingo Academy.
By embedding the training in a fun, social environment, Freddie is hoping to double the number of young adults playing bingo in Britain by 2019. It’s a bold target, but these are testing times for bingo and someone needs to think big. It’s time to “Make Bingo Great Again”.
The Bingo Academy is taking place in a Mecca Bingo Hall in Camden Town from February to March at The Vaults under Waterloo from April to May.
